Featured Job: Technical Author Contract in Germany
We are currently seeking native-English speaking technical authors for our client, a major player in the software industry, for contracts near Heidelberg, Germany.
Contract Description: Initially three-months, then rolling renewals. Renewals can continue indefinitely. Contractors must be willing to work onsite in Germany initially.
Profile sought: Classic Technical Author profile – demonstrated experience documenting technical subjects. Previous contracting experience preferred.
Most important is the ability to turn complex technical information into clear, understandable English that non-technical users can follow.
A technical background in software development, financial documentation and/or business analysis is a strong advantage. Will consider most applicable technical backgrounds when you can demonstrate your ability to produce high-quality, clear technical documentation.
German is not required for this assignment.
You must possess all legal paperwork qualifying you to work within the EU for this contract. Firehead cannot obtain any paperwork for contractors.
