Vive la France! Firehead is expanding!

Skyline view of Paris with Eiffel Tower in background.

We’re proud to announce that Firehead has just opened a brand new regional European office in France to meet the fast-growing demand for technical writing, content strategy and other digital skills in the country.

The office is based in Aix-en-Provence (we also have offices in Sweden and the UK). Although the sunny south of France was certainly a draw, the important thing is that it will enable Firehead to work right across France, bringing specialist recruitment services in technical communication, Web content and IT work from Paris to Nice, Bordeaux to Lyon, and beyond.

Firehead’s CEO, CJ Walker, is particularly looking forward to having a base in the country where she feels at home, having spent too many years to  mention there and where her Cajun cultural roots still draw her back. She says:

“This is an exciting time for Firehead. By putting down our recruitment roots in France, we will be able to give more focused attention and care to our French clients in their search for the best content and communications talent in Europe.

“We already have a good number of content strategists, business analysts and technical communicators working in France. It seems logical to expand where our clients and people are so we can build on a solid base to expand our services for clients and job hunters in content strategy and communications. “

What does the new French office mean?

So what will this mean for French companies looking for IT and Web talent, and for French job-seekers in content and communications?

Well, we ask that those seeking work can still contact us in the first instance by email or via Candidate Services with a CV and details of the roles and salary (or contract work and rates) you’re looking for.

Companies with content and communication needs to fill can still get in touch via Client Solutions or good old-fashioned email.

Firehead’s French connection means a more personalised service for clients and candidates across Europe, as we continue to grow and fill the specific needs of our market.

We will always work with you to find the best match as quickly as possible.

Get in touch with us today to find out how we can fulfil your recruitment needs, or for more information, email info@staging.firehead.flywheelsites.com for a Firehead recruitment pack.

Come blog for us!

And a reminder for our new French friends: we’re always looking for guest bloggers for the Firehead blog to keep the community conversation going.

We’ve had some of the world’s leading content and comms experts blogging for us and we’re now seeking the best of the best in France to tell us the inside scoop on what their work involves, the skills that are needed, and some of the issues and trends specific to your market. Contact cj@staging.firehead.flywheelsites.com for a guest blogger pack and a lot of encouragement.
